'Ghillies' lodge stands looking down on the rest of the Portnellan estate and glen, the luxury accommodation is over two floors - the master bedroom has its own private balcony.

A short walk to two lochs (Loch Luibhair and Loch Dochart) and an adjoining river offering 5 miles of game fishing. Explore Eilean Dochart castle ruin situated on a wee island in Loch Dochart. The lochs, castle and river can be explored by kayaks, canadian canoes and rowing boats (free). Free bikes available too. There is a library of 200 DVD's, local maps and information, walks in the area, board games and magazines. Most lodges have Wi Fi but for those that don't there is a Wi Fi hotspot.

There is a selection of lodges at Portnellan ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms and are all either 4 or 5 star graded by the Scottish Tourist Board. From specifically designed large one bedroom 4 star lodges perfect for couples, through to our Ghillies Lodge which hosts the ultimate in 5 star self catering luxury with 3 large en suite bedrooms, sauna and spa bath. All lodges have adjacent private parking, wide open grassy areas and either a terrace or balcony with garden furniture and gas BBQ. All lodges are tastefully furnished and extreme comfort offering home comforts. Large double beds, LCD TV with full Sky package.
