Ground floor: Hall, spacious beamed lounge with log burner, beamed kitchen/dining room & utility/drying room. 3 bedrooms – 2 doubles (one with additional single bed for a child), 1 room with 3 single beds, Shower room/W.C.

First floor: 4 bedrooms – 2 double, bunk bedded room (this room + one of the doubles has access to ensuite shower room/W.C.), 1 twin room, bathroom/W.C. (shower attachment)

Kingfisher Barn – sleeps 16 + 1 + cot.

Ground floor: Kitchen/dining room, three steps to lounges, 2 bedrooms – 1 double with adjacent bathroom/W.C. (shower over bath), 1 room with three single beds with adjacent bathroom/W.C.

First floor: 5 bedrooms – 3 double, 1 twin, 1 bunk bedded room, shower room/W.C.

Lakeside Barn – sleeps 9 + cot.

Carsington Waterside Cottages:

Situated in an enviable position on the banks of Carsington Water, these three cottages beautiful barn conversions enjoy an idyllic setting with views across the water.

There is no through traffic, and the cottages offer direct access to the circular 8 miles of lake path. All cottages boast a patio overlooking the lake and for children, there is a wood and small play area with toddler swings & slide.

Waterside Cottages provides a safe environment with no through traffic and provides a direct access to the lake path around Carsington Water for cyclists and walkers.

Superb fishing for brown and rainbow trout can be enjoyed within 50 yards and rowing boats can be hired from the fishery centre.

Across the lake, the visitor centre provides a restaurant, cafe, shops, indoor and outdoor play centres, cycle hire and a RYA watersports centre.

Within a mile is a popular pub and shop, and a number of excellent dining pubs can be found within 5 miles.

Conveniently situated between Ashbourne and Matlock, these cottages make an ideal base to explore the Peak District National Park. Perfect for both the more energetic and those who just want to discover the breathtaking scenery.

The owners are pleased to be able to offer food packages for you and your guests during your stay at Waterside Cottages.

The meals are all home-made using fresh local ingredients by New Leaf Catering Partnership at Carsington Water Visitor Centre.

They are delivered chilled, on your arrival day and left in the refrigerator. All you need to do is place them in the oven and enjoy.
