There is no through traffic, and the cottages offer direct access to the circular 8 miles of lake path. All cottages boast a patio overlooking the lake and for children, there is a wood and small play area with toddler swings & slide.
Waterside Cottages provides a safe environment with no through traffic and provides a direct access to the lake path around Carsington Water.
Superb fishing for brown and rainbow trout can be enjoyed within 50 yards and rowing boats can be hired from the fishery centre.
Across the lake, the visitor centre provides a restaurant, cafe, shops, indoor and outdoor play centres, cycle hire and a RYA watersports centre.
Conveniently situated between Ashbourne and Matlock, these cottages make an ideal base to explore the Peak District National Park. Perfect for both the more energetic and those who just want to discover the breathtaking scenery.
