Location
- This wonderful unspoilt area within the Loch Lomond National Park offers endless opportunities for walking, touring, sea & course fishing, wildlife, horse riding, sailing, water sports, golf and lots more.

The Benmore Gardens, Inveraray Castle, Wild Life Park, Mount Stuart and the most glorious scenic drives are all nearby.

Dunoon - today still retains the flavour of a Victorian seaside resort, with a four-mile promenade backed by graceful villas of the period, many now small hotels, such as the beautiful and luxurious Abbots Brae Hotel

Holy Loch Marina - The Holy Loch Marina offers all the sailing and yachting facilities you would expect to find in a first class marina, and is situated amongst beautiful scenery in a relaxing, established holiday area. Located in Dunoon, Argyll, Scotland, it is just 20 minutes by frequent ferry from Gourock, which is not far from Glasgow. Loch Long and the Upper Firth of Clyde are just a short sail away. Holy Loch Marina in Dunoon is at the gateway to the Highlands, on the Cowal Peninsula, where landscape meets seascape. This is one of the most spectacular and picturesque locations in the United Kingdom and is a secure haven for sailing.

Oban - The major ferry port of Oban started life as a fishing village until its importance grew as a farming, ferry and shipbuilding centre. The arrival of steam-ships and the railway in the latter half of the nineteenth century made it a key staging post to islands such as Mull, Colonsay, Coll, Tiree and the Outer Hebrides. It is now, by far, the largest port and gateway on the west coast serving the Hebridean Isles.

Further Afield

  • Fort William, home of Ben Nevis, is known as the Outdoor Capital of Scotland and has a wide variety of bars and shops to suit every taste.
  • Glencoe is only a 50 minute drive away and provides an awe inspiring trip through its central valley, it is without doubt one of the most beautiful places in Europe.
  • Ardnamurchan, the most westerly point in Europe is just a short ferry ride away.
  • The Road to the Isles from Fort William to Mallaig is a route steeped in history and you can end your trip with a journey on the Jacobean Steam Train.
